Engr. Stephen Ugwuanyi

Engr. Stephen Ugwuanyi is an experienced engineer and academic professional with over 8-years of research and teaching experience in Nigeria and the UK. Stephen holds a B.Eng. in electronic engineering from University of Nigeria and an M.Sc. in communication, control and digital signal processing from the University of Strathclyde , Glasgow, UK, where he is concluding his PhD in Internet of Things for Industrial devices under the sponsorship of Nigerian Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF). Stephen is an R&D Engineer, University of Strathclyde PNDC and his experience focuses on several Communications and Systems Integration projects, delivering real-world results in emerging IoT, wireless and communications networks, cybersecurity, and power utility networks for industrial applications

Engr. Muhammed Abubakar

Vice Chairman

Engr. Muhammed Abubakar is an Entrepreneurial Civil Engineer, he founded two growing successful businesses which vision are inclined with that of sustainable development goal aiming for industry innovation, sustainable infrastructure, clean water and clean energy that is reliable and affordable (6, 7, 9, and 11). Muhammed holds a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Ahmadu Bellow University. Muhammed is a result oriented engineer with a cumulative 5 years experience spanning across construction, safety and management, he has badged various academic award and scholarship notably are the Chevron Scholarship, Petroleum Technology Development Fund, Olympiad National Competition and Cowbell National Mathematics Competition. In addition, Muhammed is a great team player, open-minded and ambitious engineer

Engr. Simon Omerigwe

Simon Omerigwe is a professional engineer with experience cutting across various fields or specialty. He is energetic, ambitious, and open-minded engineer who has developed great quest for excellence in project delivery and execution. Possess an excellent ability to motivate others, communicate effectively at all levels. Simon holds a BEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna Nigeria, just concluded his MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow UK and currently a PhD Candidate at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences

Engr. Diret Tang’an

Diret holds a B.Engr. and M.Eng Degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. He also obtained an M.Sc. Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK where he is presently a Ph.D. researcher under the sponsorship of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF). His current research focuses on carrying out a robust and systematic remediation technology evaluation for the decontamination of petroleum polluted soils. He is a registered engineer with the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)

Engr. Daniel Eneojo Omale

Daniel holds an Msc in Mechanical Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland United Kingdom, and a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical/Production Engineering from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi Nigeria. Daniel is an innovative Mechanical Engineer who has demonstrable work experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, carrying out projects in building services, corrosion analysis, and manufacturing engineering. He is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and a Member Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (MNIMechE).

Engr. Ikechukwu Monday

Engr Ike is the Field and Shop Service manager for Sulzer Services – Venlo Service Centre located in The Netherlands, with more than16 years’ experience in rotation equipment and leading a team of more than 26 Mechanical, Commissioning and Tendering Engineers, Service Coordinators, and Shop Mechanics that support customers in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, both renewable and conventional sectors in more than 40 locations.

Also, he is a General Electric Certified Gas Turbine Expert experienced in GE Gas Turbine of various Frames for Power Generation across the Middle East and Africa.

He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Mentor Field Engineers.



Engr. Segun Olarinoye

Segun is a highly experienced chartered electrical engineer with over 18 years of demonstrated history of successful project in the design and installation of building electrical services. His project involvement starts from the concept development stage through to close out stage, developing technical, innovative and cost-effective solutions to local and international standards. His specialism include HV/LV distribution, lighting and emergency lighting, Power, Fire detection and Alarm, Security systems and Data Centre infrastructure design

Engr. Wale Fatusi

Wale obtained his Bachelor of Science (hons) degree in Civil Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, and a master’s degree in project management from the University of West of Scotland, Paisley and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Wale has over 15 years post-graduate experience gained on a diverse range of design and build projects that include Industrial projects M&E, civil construction (Offshore windfarm cable installation), Gas pipeline; oil and gas, water M&E; utility; and EPC and brownfield projects, and construction project management which includes tenders and project control. His experience is supported with good knowledge of site construction process and management, health, safety, and environmental management

Engr. Olubunmi Adedire

Bunmi obtained his Bachelor of Science (hons) degree in Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, and a masters degree in Construction Project Management from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. Bunmi has over 16 years post-graduate experience in the built environment, civil engineering design, assessment, and construction project management. He has gained valuable experience in civil/structural engineering design, inspection and assessment of railway under bridges, overbridges, footway bridges and other structures like station buildings, gantries and retaining walls. His experience is supported with good knowledge of buildability, site construction process and management, health, safety, and environmental management.

Engr. Gertrude Ugwu

Engr. Gertrude Ugwu is a COREN registered engineer and an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP). She worked in the oil and gas industry for 10 years before moving into the financial services sector where she has worked since the last 7 years primarily as an application manager. She holds a BEng in Computer Science and Engineering and a MSc in Information Engineering. She is also a part-time research student at the University of Strathclyde, UK. Her research work involves investigating consumers’ acceptance of online purchasing within UK retail banking through the lens of an integrated model

Engr. Sani M. Lawal

Engr. Sani Mohammed Lawal is an Electrical Engineer, Academician and Consultants in Electrical Designs Services, Training, Installations, and Solar Photovoltaic Installation Systems with overs 15 years of Experience in Electrical Power Engineering, COREN Registered, Member, IEEE, MNSE, MNIEEE, MCREN, and MSESN. Engr. S.M. Lawal is qualified Quality Assurance Assessor (QAA) and qualified Internal Quality Assurance Manager (IQAM) in Electrical Installation System for National Skills Qualification Framework. He has carry out different Electrical Projects in designs, installation and accreditations of various Polytechnic Programs. Holds Higher National Diploma with PDG from Kaduna Polytechnic and proceeded to Malaysia for Masters in Electrical Power Engineering from University Putra Malaysia (UPM). Engr. S. M. Lawal is a Lecturer in the Electrical/Electronic Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Kaduna Polytechnic. He is currently undergoing his PhD program at Robert Gordon University (RGU), Aberdeen Scotland under the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) Scholarship. His research area is in Renewable Energy with emphasis in Low Cost Solar Photovoltaic Concentrator for building integration that will be used in Sub-Sahara Africa; As an Energy Panacea. COREN Examiner, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, Professional Interview. Former, two times Technical Secretary, Nigerian Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (NIEEE) Division of Nigerian Society of Engineers, Kaduna Chapter. Engr. Dr. Oluseun Adediran

Dr. Oluseun Adediran have over 20 years’ experience as a professional mechanical engineer in NPD, power generation, manufacturing, nuclear, oil & gas, petrochemical & refinery industries. Oluseun holds a PhD in the area of vibration and structural mechanics from University of Surrey, UK and also credited with an MBA from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden. He is a dedicated alumnus of the Premier University of Ibadan. Oluseun is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Chartered Marine Engineer (CMarEng), a member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (MIMarEST and has UK UK Engineering Council registration
