The Nigerian Society Glasgow is one of the diaspora branches of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), which is the umbrella organization for the Engineering Profession in Nigeria. The Society looks after the professional needs of members resident in Scotland through well structured programs and regular interactions among the different cadre of membership, enhancing high professional standard and ethical practices. The NSE Glasgow branch was created in 2017 by Nigerian Engineers based in Scotland out of the need to provide a platform for Nigerian Engineers residing in Scotland to contribute to Engineering development in Nigeria.
The branch was officially recognized and approved by the NSE council in September 2020 making it the 81st Branch of the NSE. The NSE Glasgow branch is the largest diaspora branch of NSE and continues to contribute to the overall development of Engineering in Nigeria.

Welcome to the Nigerian Society of Engineers, (NSE), Glasgow website. Whether you have interest in our activities, just browsing or a member catching up with news and events, you are more than welcome to check what we have on offer.
I am Engr. Stephen Ugwuanyi, the second Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Glasgow, Scotland, and I’d like to extend my greetings to all members and to any potential intending members visit our site. I am immensely proud to be the second chairman of this professional organization and to have working with me, a committee of people and members that shares the aim of being a warm group of people that enjoys putting on high standard of engineering professionalism with charitable heart to change our world.
Our aims and objectives is not limited to enabling Nigerian diaspora engineers impact engineering development in our homeland alone. Nigerian engineers in diaspora have worked or are working in different engineering fields that are of critical importance to our country, Nigeria. The NSE, Glasgow serves as a medium to Nigerian engineers based in Glasgow, Scotland and the United Kingdom to promote and influence al aspects of engineering development in Nigeria. We provide networking for engineers in the UK to influence and impact engineering development in Nigeria both at governmental level and industrial sectors.
As a branch of the NSE, we promotes the development and guidance of young and upcoming engineers and protect the future of our distinguished profession. We also promote other charitable purposes within Scotland, United Kingdom, Europe and the entire globe through our support network in the field of engineering.
