The NSE Glasgow Branch, proudly recognised as the 81st Branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and one of its distinguished diaspora branches, serves as a vibrant professional platform for Nigerian engineers and engineering professionals. Our Branch is committed to promoting excellence, advancing engineering knowledge, strengthening professional relationships, and contributing meaningfully to the development of our communities in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
I am Engr. Wale Fatusi, MSc, PMP, MNSE, and I am deeply honoured to serve as the 4th Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Glasgow Branch.
As engineers, we possess a unique responsibility to shape the world around us. Through our knowledge, innovation, skills, and professional expertise, we have the capacity to solve complex challenges, create sustainable solutions, and make a lasting impact on society. It is this belief that continues to inspire our collective mission: to make a meaningful global impact through engineering knowledge, professional excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Our website serves as more than just an information platform. It is a gateway to our professional community and a hub for continuous professional development, knowledge sharing, mentorship, networking, and engineering excellence. Whether you are an experienced engineer, an early-career professional, a student, or an individual interested in joining our community, we invite you to engage with the opportunities and resources available through the NSE Glasgow Branch.
As Chairman, my vision is to build a stronger, more connected, visible, and impactful NSE Glasgow Branch a Branch where innovation is encouraged, professional excellence is celebrated, mentorship is accessible, and every member is empowered to contribute, lead, and make a difference.
Together with a dedicated Executive Committee and a community of talented engineers, we will continue to strengthen our professional standards, expand opportunities for our members, promote the visibility and contribution of Nigerian engineers, and inspire the next generation of engineering professionals.
I firmly believe that our greatest strength lies in our people. By working together, sharing knowledge, supporting one another, and embracing innovation, we can create a professional community that not only serves its members but also contributes positively to society and the global engineering profession.
Together, we can build a stronger professional community, inspire future generations, and create a lasting impact through engineering.
Once again, I warmly welcome you to the Nigerian Society of Engineer Glasgow Branch
About Us !
The Nigerian Society of Engineers Glasgow is a diaspora branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) , the umbrella organization for the Engineering Profession in Nigeria. The Society looks after the professional needs of members
in Scotland through well structured programs and regular interactions among the different cadre of membership, enhancing high professional standard and ethical practices.
The NSE Glasgow branch was first created in 2017 out of the need to have a platform in Scotland that could enable Nigerian Engineers residing in Scotland to contribute towards the development of the Engineering profession in Nigeria.
The Branch got its approval in by the NSE council in September 2020 recognizing it as the 81st Branch of the NSE.
The NSE Glasgow branch is now the largest NSE branch in the diaspora and continues to promote the development of Nigerian Engineers both in the diaspora and back in Nigeria.
